Students from 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th year set up their enterprises either individually or in groups. 10% of all profits raised went to “Our Lady’s Hospital” in Crumlin. This amounted to €500. Only those who could present costings in advance and whose prototypes showed potential were allowed to rent a stall. There were 30 stalls in total, selling crafts, jewellery, decorations and home baking. There was an abundance of enthusiasm, creativity and entrepreneurial skills evident.

Great credit is due to the teachers in the business department who put in a huge amount of time and planning into ensuring the success of the event.
